The AGC of Ohio Safety Meeting will include a presentation about developing effective active shooter programs. The speakers will include representatives from the Franklin County Sheriff’s office who will discuss what to expect from law enforcement during active shooter situation; how company can best assist before, during and after; other pertinent info from law enforcement perspective regarding company policies/training/protocols). Patrick McMillen of Gilbane will share lessons learned after experiencing an active shooter situation on a job; and participants will also share active shooter program and training resources.

Other regular safety meeting agenda items will be addressed at the conclusion of the program, including OSHA regulatory and enforcement activity and a roundtable discussion on safety and health issues.
