Associated General Contractors of Ohio Welcomes Carissa Hershey as Member Engagement and Communications Director
Columbus, OH – The Associated General Contractors of Ohio (AGC Ohio) is excited to announce the appointment of Carissa Hershey as the new Director of Member Engagement and Communications. Carissa brings a wealth of experience in strategic communications, not-for-profit association management, and member relations, making her an ideal fit for this new role.
With an extensive communications background, Carissa has a proven track record of enhancing member engagement and developing impactful communication strategies. Most recently, she served as Marketing Manager for MESH Works, a startup software company for the manufacturing industry, where she successfully increased brand awareness and community engagement.
In this newly established role at AGC Ohio, Carissa will lead initiatives to strengthen relationships with members, enhance communication efforts, and promote the construction industry in Ohio. Her expertise in digital communications and community engagement will be invaluable as the organization grows and evolves.

Carissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Otterbein University and a Master of Public Administration from Keller Graduate School. Her commitment to professional development is evident through her involvement in various industry associations and leadership programs.
