WELCOME DAN EDWARDS, AGC OF OHIO EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT!

Dan Edwards, former partner at AGC-member Taft, has officially assumed the role of Executive Vice President at AGC of Ohio this week. An Ohio native with ties to North-Central Ohio and Buffalo, NY, Dan brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his new position. He earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Finance and Business Economics from Miami University in 1989, followed by a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center in 1992.

Dan's journey includes service in the United States Air Force as a JAG Corps officer, where he was a prosecutor and civil law generalist before being assigned as a government contract trial attorney, focused on construction cases.

Dan left the Air Force in December 1997, and entered the private sector as a construction attorney. Throughout his career, he has negotiated contracts, provided practical legal advice, and litigated contract claims on behalf of contractors and subcontractors. Dan's professional journey has been intertwined with AGC, having been affiliated with four AGC-member law firms during his private practice.

Dan and his wife Terri have been married for nearly 30 years. They are parents to five children – Matt (27), Kate (23), Jake (21), and twins Destiny and Ryan (3½), whom they recently adopted.

As Dan assumes this new leadership role at AGC of Ohio, we look forward to benefiting from his experience, passion for the industry, and commitment to the AGC community. He can be reached at dan@agcohio.com or cell 614-582-7305.
